At long last, NYC legends Les Savy Fav are making an appearance in Katowice, and not a moment too soon: the band’s sixth album, Oui, LSF — their first in 14 years — drops this May. LSF dragged the genres of post-hardcore and noise rock into the 21st century, spawning legions of copycats, none of which can hold a candle to their progenitors. And the group’s (in)famous live shows make the difference even starker (and sweatier), due in no small part to frontman Tim Harrington. Get up close to the stage: this is the quintessential OFF Festival experience.
