Ta Ukrainka

Anastazja Ivahnenko was born in Ukraine, but has lived, worked, and made music for many years in Poland, which she chose out of her love for Maria Peszek and Taco Hemingway. She’s a confectioner by day, but her lyrics are anything but saccharine as they paint an unvarnished picture of the “Polish dream” for locals and Ukrainians alike. She’s collaborated with Bogdan Kondracki, and her music is best described as indie pop in search of challenging content for new sounds.
