Belarusian Brasileira? Why not? Music knows no boundaries, after all. And what better proof of that than this Minsk-based outfit’s third LP, Force of the Wind? Under the enlightened leadership of frontman Alex Chumak, Soyuz would make an excellent tour partner for Mitch & Mitch, but for now they’re happy to travel from the present to the deep 70s and back and forth between refined pop and burnished jazz.
