King Krule
It all started with a handful of mini-albums, a series of moving concerts, and finally the debut LP 6 Feet Beneath the Moon. King Krule proved himself to be one of the most compelling artists on the British scene in the early 2010s. Describing his ability to convey the mood of modern-day London, the NME compared King Krule’s songs to the music of Burial. But Archy Marshall is an artistic voice that’s too original to be confined to a single location or generation. For example, as he continues to explore the realms of indie rock, folk, and jazz ballads, he’s now recording an album about losing people to the “guillotine of the universe.” Titled Space Heavy, the record is slated to drop in July, ahead of King Krule’s appearance in Katowice at the OFF Festival.
