The track “Pociągi towarowe” launched Jakub Skorupa out of the obscurity of his corporate cubicle and onto the OFF Festival stage. The song marked the beginning of artist’s journey towards the life he wanted but didn’t have the courage to reach out for. His debut album, Zeszyt pierwszy, released this spring on Universal Music, bears witness to the emergence of a new singer-songwriter with enormous literary talent, sensitivity, and the skill to arrange songs that tug at your heartstrings.
