Izzy and the Black Trees

Strong women with original voices haved played a vital role in the aftershocks of the post-punk movement. Now, joining the ranks of Goat Girl, Amyl and the Sniffers, and Dry Cleaning is the Polish act Izzy and the Black Trees, led by frontwoman Izabela Rekowska. Their LP Revolution Comes in Waves, while excellent, is just a modest foreshadowing of the energy they bring to their live shows.
