Bolis Pupul

Before the Macao native moved to Ghent and became a producer valued for his original perspective on house and techno, Bolis Pupul was allegedly Southeast Asia’s number 2 Rubik’s Cube champion. That makes sense: his music is simultaneously complex and flashy, orderly but fully of impressive and unexpected combinations. He debuted with the original singles “Moon Theme / Sun Theme,” “Wèi / Teknow” and “Neon Buddha,” and since 2016 has recorded with the Belgian vocalist Charlotte Adigéry. The duo’s full length debut is this year’s phenomenal LP Topical Dancer.
