Anchey Nocon

How ought we live? In his songs, the singer, songwriter, and producer known as Anchey Nocon proposes we spend our time on this mortal coil as best we can, and help others do the same. Nature is the key theme of his 2022 album Now The Grass Grows Through My Skin. Fires burning beyond a forest and attempts to stem a river also echo in his latest effort, Śpiewnik na koniec czasów – edycja pierwsza. Over a backdrop of folk and indie-pop sounds, Anchey Nocon, winner of Poland’s Young Talent Festival, examines himself and the outside world. He sings about wanting to hover and rid himself of the fear he feels in his bones. There’s a lot to feel in his music, but fear isn’t it.
