AlaZaStary

They first joined up as part of the act New People, performing at the OFF Festival seven years ago, but they eventually branched off to explore their own musical world. That gave rise to the duo AlaZaStary, which they happily form on and off the stage. They started with warm, light pop songs (which landed them a finalist spot in the new-music poll Sanki), before eventually feeling the urge to dance. That’s why Alicja Boratyn and Jakub Sikora’s dream-pop tracks contain echoes of house and disco. And when the two team up with live musicians on stage, there’s all the more reason to start dancing.
