We welcome our youngest festival guests

OFF Festival Katowice 2018: Piaskoffnica welcomes our youngest festival guests

This is one of those times when you wish you were still a kid. We’re glad to announce this year’s Piaskoffnica program and invite our youngest festival guests and their guardians to drop by.

Every year, we do our best to accommodate young guests. It’s not just because we like children so much. We’re also looking out for ourselves: in twenty years’ time, we’ll see those kids rocking out in the audience, or maybe even on stage! As the twig is bent, so grows the tree…

We’d like to remind everyone that kids under ten receive free admission to the OFF Festival (with an adult, of course), and they’ll find menus to suit their tastes at the Food Court. You can also stop by the official OFF merchandise stand for noise-blocking earmuffs to protect your kids’ hearing, which we encourage audiences to do every year (not just when Swans are playing).

More importantly though, we invite the youngest kids to drop by Piaskoffnica (again: children must be accompanied by a guardian!). This is a corner of the OFF Festival that’s made just for them. You’ll find a baby-changing station, a food warmer, and plenty of stimulating and inspiring activities taking place under the professional supervision of Ania and Dorota. Ania Gołębiewska is a photographer who specializes in portraiture and photographing children. Representing KOKKA Design Studio, Dorota Nowicka specializes in woodworking and design. Both Ania and Dorota are experienced workshop leaders and enjoy the spontaneity of children’s creativity.

Piaskoffnica is open every day from 3:00 to 8:30 pm.
